Today we welcomed a new group of @abbotthousesd girls to @reclamation_ranch for #horsetherapy here in #mitchellsd We love our partnership with the Abbott House and the life skills and personal development the horses teach the girls. You could say it's magic. Today one girl in particular was afraid to lead Trigger through the course of challenges the girls had built as a team. We allowed her to feel safe enough to ask for help which transformed into her leading with assistance and ultimately on her own. Creating healthy habits. When asked what their take aways were after their time with the horses, they each learned that horses are a lot like people. They can be both easy and stubborn to work with. Great job today ladies!
